Dear Your Right To Know,

Firstly, please can I thank you for your very prompt reply to my FOI request. This is very much appreciated.

Thank you for stating that you have not corresponded with DfE on this matter, but will be submitting a response to the consultation. Thanks also for confirming that you anticipate not needing any additional resources to implement the guidelines.

I should have stated in my original request about the outsourcing of resources. Please could you tell me if you currently outsource to another party to meet with home educators (as opposed to using your own LA staff), and if so, whether the new guidelines (if implemented) would require you to increase this outsourcing?

If you need to treat this as an FOI request, then please do so.

Thanks once again.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Brown

Dear Your Right To Know,

Thank you for your recent correspondence on this matter. I appreciate your assistance and understand these queries take time to answer.

In your FOI response (ECC4880126 06 18), you confirmed that you had not had direct contact with DfE and that you had yet to submit a response to the consultation.

As the consultation has now been closed, may I ask if you did submit a response, and may I please have a copy of the response you submitted (under FOIA if required).

Thank you once again.
