I write to acknowledge and apologise for the delay in responding to your
request relating to EHCP Information. As you know, the council is required
to respond to all requests for information under the Freedom of
Information Act within 20 working days, unless a ‘qualified exception’
applies that requires the consideration of the Public Interest.

Walsall Council takes its obligations under this legislation extremely
seriously and I am sorry that in this case we have not met this timescale.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for the delay you have
experienced in receiving a response to your Freedom of Information
Request. As you know, the council is required to respond to all requests
for information under the Freedom of Information Act within 20 working
days, unless a ‘qualified exception’ applies.

I am however happy to provide the information you requested below. I hope

Further to your request for information about EHCP OT provisions, I can
tell you the following:

In accordance with section 1(1) Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA),
I can confirm that the information requested is not held by the local
authority as the responsibility for EHCP OT provisions/services does not
lie with the authority. 

The local authority does provide general OT provisions for children but
not specifically in relation to EJCP's. 

However I am able to assist you further by informing you that these
services/provisions are provided within the Walsall area by
the NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board (incorporating the
previously defunct Walsall Clinical Commissioning Group).

Furthermore all requests for information can be made directly to
