Dear Transport for London,

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 relating to the effectiveness of DLR stations as cycle hubs.

Specifically I would like to request:

- A list of studies carried out, in part or in whole, by TfL or it's subsidiaries as to the effectiveness of DLR stations as cycling hubs.

- Where possible, the findings of these studies

Dear Mr Pope

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4
August.

You have asked for a list of studies carried out, in part or in whole, by
TfL or its subsidiaries as to the effectiveness of DLR stations as cycling
hubs and where possible, the findings of these studies. Your request has
been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act.

At present, we do not hold any information as to the effectiveness of DLR
stations as cycling hubs.

However, we are due to commence a monitoring programme of some DLR
stations in order to establish how well they are used in this respect. As
this exercise is in its infancy, I'm afraid I am unable to advise on when
the results of this programme will be available.

I am sorry that we are not able to assist you on this occasion, but if you
have any further queries with which I can be of assistance, please do not
hesitate to contact me.

If you are not satisfied with this response, please read the attached
help-sheet entitled `Your Right to Appeal'

Sincerely

Lucielle Carlo
