Dear Humberside Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Humberside Police's handling of my FOI request 'Effectiveness – Economic Crime Unit'.

If it is necessary to escalate a complaint to the Information Commissioner, he will not consider Humberside Police will have provided the appropriate advice and assistance so as to comply with section 16 FOIA. ( http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000... )

The Commissioner requires the public authority to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation:

• provide advice and assistance to enable the person to submit a refined request within the cost limit, or

• if the request cannot be refined so as to enable it to be complied with within the cost limit, inform the person accordingly.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Dear Waller, Paul 8065,

You have misunderstood, I have no problems opening the document.

I recall on initially reading the response there was reference made to the "20 day limit applying" if any of the elements of the request were re-submitted.

The document appears to have since been edited and that reference is no longer part of the response. I would therefore like the document as originally attached to be re-attached.

Yours sincerely,

Neil Gilliatt

Dear Mr Waller,

I have clearly imagined reading what I was convinced related to the 20 day limit applying. What reinforced this was noting the information logged in the document's properties indicated that the letter had been modified around 20 minutes after being created.

Yours sincerely,

Neil Gilliatt
