Dear National Parks UK,

Hope you're having a great week!

I'm about to start a research project about the possible impact of over-tourism on national parks and wondered if I could please get a bit of help?

If I submitted a Freedom of Information request, would you be able to provide data for each national park on things like these?

- Number of footpath repairs over time, broken down by year
- Number of fence/gate/style (etc.) repairs over time, broken down by year
- Any data on littering?
- Any other data that you think might be interesting to this subject?

Sorry to be so vague - I'm just trying to see what's available! I really appreciate your help.

Thanks for getting in touch.

We do not hold that data centrally - no one does. Each National Park is tun by an autonomous National Park Authority. They will hold their own data but it won't all be the same or in the same format.
