Dear Home Office

Please see the revised FOI request below. Reference number 37363.

Although there are numerous questions, most of these are requests for statistics which should be readily available or quickly and easily obtained from your MIS database. I cannot imagine that any of these questions would take longer than an hour (or an hour and a half) to process.

If the total cost is deemed to be in excess of 600 pounds, kindly address the questions in order until the maximum threshold is reached. Failing that, kindly provide a breakdown of the costs involved to research this FOI request to facilitate a refinement of the request.

Lastly, please would you be kind enough to acknowledge receipt of this message.

Please provide aggregated statistics over the last 24 months pertaining to:

a) how many direct reconsideration appeals have been requested for EEA(FM) applications;

b) how many direct reconsideration appeals have been successfully granted for EEA(FM) applications;

c) the percentage of the total of EEA(FM) applications, submitted under the "worker" qualification status that have been refused by the Home Office;

d) the percentage of the total of EEA(FM) applications, submitted under the "jobseeker" qualification status that have been refused by the Home Office;

e) the percentage of the total of EEA(FM) applications, submitted under the "self sufficient" qualification status that have been refused by the Home Office;

f) the percentage of the total of EEA(FM) applications, submitted under the "worker" qualification status, that have been
successfully appealed at the 1st Tier Tribunal for Asylum and Immigrations;

g) the percentage of the total of EEA(FM) applications, submitted under the "jobseeker" qualification status, that have been successfully appealed at the 1st Tier Tribunal for Asylum and Immigrations;

h) the percentage of the total of EEA(FM) applications, submitted under the "self sufficient" qualification status, that have been successfully appealed at the 1st Tier Tribunal for Asylum and Immigrations;

i) whether case workers are incentivised in any way other in processing cases;

j) whether a division of labour exists in assessing applications from UK and EU (non-UK) sponsors;

k) what disciplinary procedures are imposed against case workers negligent in ensuring compliance of the EEA(2006) regulations;

l) how many direct reconsideration appeals have been refused on the grounds of the applicants signing the declaration that information pertaining to a change in circumstances would be forwarded the Home Office whilst the application is in progress, but failing to do so.

Thank you.

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'EEA (FM) applications - categorisation data'.

This FOI should have been completed by 18 November 2015. I have resubmitted a reduced number of requests but still not received a response. This is taking unreasonably long to process and no end is in sight.

Please would you action an internal review ASAP. As stated previously, should the entire list of requests exceed the GBP 600 threshold, kindly process the individual requests in sequential order. That said, I cannot see the complete list exceeding GBP 600 to process in this day and age of MIS.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,
