1. When will the works be completed?
It is anticipated that the footway works on Edward Street itself will be fully completed by 13th February. The junction signal works taking place on Pavilion Parade are programmed to be completed by w/c 16th March
2. What was the original completion date for the works?
The Eastern Road and Edward Street works were originally estimated to be completed by the end of November 2014. The junction works were originally scheduled to be completed by the end of January 2015.
3. What is the estimated and actual cost of the works?
The estimated cost of the works is £1.25million. The actual cost of works is not yet available as the works are not yet complete. As such we do not hold this information.
4. How much of the cost of the works is being funded by the Department for Transport and how much from Brighton & Hove City Council?
The full cost of the works is funded by grants from the Department for Transport.
