Dear Sefton Borough Council,

I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I require information on local authority Educational Psychology services, Peripatetic Specialist Teaching services and SEND Support services.

A) Does the local authority offer services for Educational Psychology, Peripatetic Specialist Teachers or SEND support which are provided at no cost to schools / academies?

B) If the answer to question ‘A’ is yes, please can you let me know is there a limit to how many hours are provided at no cost to schools / academies?

C) Does the local authority offer services for Educational Psychology, Peripatetic Specialist Teachers or SEND support which are sold to schools within the LA?

D) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then please could you send a marketing brochure or similar documents that the local authority provides to schools to let them know about the services they provide.

E) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then please can you send me a price list for these services provided (EP, Peripatetic Specialist Teachers, or SEND Support)?

F) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then what did the local authority charge schools for Educational Psychology services during the last financial year (2015/16)?

G) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then what did the local authority charge schools for Peripatetic Specialist Teachers during the last financial year (2015/16)?

H) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then what did the local authority charge schools for SEND Support packages during the last financial year (2015/16)?

I would like the above information to be provided electronically. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary.

Yes with respect to Educational Psychology, SEND Support services and
Peripatetic Specialist Teachers

No; schools are offered a time allocation at the beginning of the
financial year based on the level of need within the school.

 

C) Does the local authority offer services for Educational Psychology,
Peripatetic Specialist Teachers or SEND support which are sold to schools
within the LA?

Yes  with respect to Educational Psychology and Peripatetic Specialist
Teachers

 

D) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then please could you send a
marketing brochure or similar documents that the local authority provides
to schools to let them know about the services they provide.

EP Services are £90 per hour; Peripatetic Specialist Teachers are £76 per
hour.

financial year (2015/16)?

£80 per hour

 

G) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then what did the local authority
charge schools for Peripatetic Specialist Teachers during the last
financial year (2015/16)?

£76 per hour

 

H) If the answer to question ’C’ is yes, then what did the local authority
charge schools for SEND Support packages during the last financial year
(2015/16)?
