Dear St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council,

Could you please advise for each education establishment type eg nursery, primary, secondary the number of school places of each school along with actual number on roll?

Additionally, could you please advise how many children who live in the Borough travel to another borough for their education (by choice or necessity) and at what is the cost St Helens pays to differing authorities per pupil for this service? Please include a breakdown of how many pupils per ward exit the Borough for education.

Likewise, please provide statistics for pupils who travel into the Borough for education but reside in another authority can you please advise the amount charged to other authorities per pupil? Please include a breakdown of how many pupils per ward come into the Borough for education.

requested is not held by the authority, as such the response is not late
as you have been advised we do not hold the information.
