Our Response

1.    Thurrock uses the Synergy Suite as our principal Education
Management Information System and the Synergy SEN module for SEN
processes.

2.    We use many of the modules available - please see the answer to the
question below. It is difficult to provide a specific number as some
aspects have multiple parts.

3.    We use Synergy for our Core database (IDEAR), Admissions processes,
Pupil Support Services (e.g. Education welfare, exclusions and child
employment), Free School Meal processes, FIS (Early Years data) FISO
Online Early Years Provider Portal), Online Parent Portal, SEN

4.    There are over 100 current users internally.

5.    There are over 8,000 external users per annum.

6.    There is one Full time Information system analyst post supporting
Synergy. This is under review.

7.    There is part of a post supporting the Early Years modules.

8.    0.2 FTE.

9.    They have other responsibilities.

10. Other responsibilities include: Supporting development projects,
supporting statutory returns and managing the Local Offer.

11. There are over 70,000 records in total for both the core and SEN
modules.

12. There are around 29 k pupils on the Spring School Census

13. Data is imported once a term.
