We confirm that the Council holds the following information, which we
believe satisfies your request.

Have the shire's 10 most senior education officers/executives including
Vince Docherty ever taken training from the council in FOI handling and
Data Protection management?

Yes, please note there are only 5 Senior Offices within Education &
Children’s Service.

Have these people all read the shire council's anti-bullying policy?

Aberdeenshire Council does not record this information.   However In-house
induction training aims to ensure all employees develop an awareness of
council policies, including anti bullying.

Do the shire's 10 most senior education officers/executives including
Vince Docherty have any declared conflicts of interest i.e., relatives or
friendships which could hypothetically pose a conflict of interest? If
yes, have any compromising situations ever arisen and if so, provide a
brief summary of same?

None of the senior education officers have declared any conflicts of
interest.

What professional qualifications do the shire's 10 most senior education
officers/executives including Vincent Doherty have, and do they take
ongoing professional training?

Aberdeenshire Council does not hold copies of qualifications held by
employees; it is the responsibility of the recruiting manager to ensure
all required qualifications are held before recruitment.  Similarly,
Aberdeenshire Council does not hold the details of external training
completed by employees which includes professional training. 

As the shire's website claims that your 'toolkit' and training ensure that
data is correctly handled and GDPA laws are followed, how many instances
have there been in 2020, 2021 and 2022 of reported data protection
breaches?
