3) The number of offers for the Bsc economic course

Dear Fenrier
In order to look into supplying this information, can you please clarify the following:
"1) The number of applicants who recieved offers
With 3 AS-levels"
Could you please clarify whether you mean applicants with 3 A levels only, or with 3 or more?
Kind regards
Danny
Dear Fenrier
With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, please find below the School’s response.
1) The number of applicants who received offers with 3 AS-levels
63
2) The number of applicants who studied A-level politics and received offers
12
3) The number of offers for the Bsc economic course
509
Please note: Mathematics A-Level is sometimes completed in Year 12 (with Further Mathematics A-Level following in Year 13). This means that the number of offers made to applicants initially presenting with 3 AS Levels is not necessarily representative of the overall qualification profile of the offer holder cohort. The overwhelming majority of applicants made an offer for BSc Economics will have 3 full A-Levels and a 4th AS Level (as per the entry requirements for the programme).
If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact me on 020 7849 7554 or write to Andrew Webb, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
