Economics BSC L100 International Acceptance Rate
Dear University of Warwick,
I would like to request the following under the freedom of information act:
1) The acceptance rate (i.e. offers given divided by number of applicants) for international (not including EU) students only for the course of Economics BSC L100 for the past 5 academic years.
2) The acceptance rate (i.e. offers given divided by number of applicants) for UK students only for the course of Economics BSC L100 for the past 5 academic years.
3) The acceptance rate(i.e. offers given divided by number of applicants) for International (No EU) students only for the course of Economics BSC L100, with 3 A*s.

Thank you for your response, just wanted to request clarification on some of the statistics you have responded with.
1. is the "% Offers/Applicants for International no EU for min 3 A* predicted A-levels" the percentage of total applicants who had 3 A* predicted grades, or is it the percentage of applicants with 3 A* predicted grades that were accepted?
2. I noticed a sizable decrease in % of offers received by international students, could you perhaps share any info on why this happened?

Thank you for your below email. Please see our responses to your clarification questions below:
1. This is the percentage of total 'international no EU' applicants who stated that they had 3 x A* predicted grades in their A-levels in their UCAS form (subject to caveats on UCAS data) and received an offer.
2. It is difficult to provide insight for why the percentage of offers made to international students has decreased for 22/23, however this could be due to a significant increase in applications received from this cohort in the preceding cycle 21/22.
