Please may you provide me with the following information on admissions to BSc Economics.
1) The total number and percentage of offers made for the course in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 cycle.
2) The percentage of offers given to home students, and to international students every year from 2017-2023.
3) The number of IB applicants every year from 2017-2023.
4) The mean and median score of IB applicants applying to the course and receiving an offer in each year from 2017-2023.
5) The mean and median combined score of higher level grades from IB applicants every year from 2017-2023.

I would like to request the mean and median of the sum of three higher level subject predicted grades, of an applicant who received an offer for the course.

University’s Response
Further to Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the “Act”) we
confirm that the information requested is held by the University of
Bristol (the “University”).
Please find the information requested in the document attached. Please
note that the university employs a rounding methodology (HESA’s
standard Rounding Methodology) when disclosing statistical information
linked to student or staff numbers. This is to reduce the risk of an
individual being identified from this dataset, or from this dataset in
combination with information elsewhere in the public domain. This is in
line with guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office for
anonymising datasets under section 40(2) of the Act. You can find a full

Internal Review Procedure
