Ecological Information re New Carrington Development
Dear Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council,
I understand the GMEU provided information to Trafford Council in 2021 (from the habitats and species databases held by the Ecology Unit), including information concerning Sites of Biological Importance within the proposed New Carrington allocation.
As this information has not been included in the submission or added to the Examination database, please can you provide it as soon as possible.
Can you also provide the minutes of the meeting held on 10th May 2021 concerned with the potential impacts of the proposed allocation on habitats and species, particularly in relation to impacts on habitats depending on peat substrates, and the potential of the site for peatland restoration and wetland creation, along with the list of attendees at that meeting.
Can you also provide minutes (and list of attendees) for any other meetings held to discuss this topic.
Thank you
Yours faithfully,
Marj Powner
