East Worthing Flood Alleviation Scheme

The request was partially successful.

Dear Environment Agency,

Following discussion with Gareth Williams of the Environmental Agency at the Wind-farm hearing in Brighton on 4 December I was provided with a copy of the document titled

JACOBS / Environment Agency
East Worthing Flood Alleviation Scheme
Teville Stream – Hydraulic Modelling Report
November 2011
es/br/e/std/v1

See:
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/1...

This Document did not include any of the Appendices and Figures listed on page iii

When this was brought to the notice of the Environment Agency I was provided with a copy of the Updated report titled:

JACOBS / Environment Agency
East Worthing FAS
Teville Stream Restoration
Options Appraisal Report – Part Two
Version 02
12 March 2012

Like the previous Report, this Report did not include any of the Appendices or Figures listed on page 3

The Report was not an update of the East Worthing Flood Alleviation Scheme (perhaps this is in Part 1 or some other part.)

Many thanks for the information in the Report about Teville Stream Restoration which is very useful to me.

Request 1
Please may I have a copy of each of the missing Appendices and Figures identified above.

Request 2
Please can I have a copy of the latest (post November 2011) East Worthing Flood Alleviation Scheme

Yours faithfully,

John Clark

Dear Mr Clark

Please find further information attached and our comments regarding this as follows:-

A Hydraulic modelling report for the Teville Stream is attached. With regard to this, it is important to note that it has assessed that fluvial flood risk on the Teville stream was much lower than expected. We have since concluded that there is no flood risk need to further appraise a fluvial flood risk management scheme to protect the community in East Worthing.

No further technical reports were produced with regard to the East Worthing Flood Alleviation Scheme.

The information is provided subject to the notice attached.

If you have further queries please do not hesitate to contact this office.

Yours sincerely
