Dear Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service,

1. How many times did ACAS facilitate the early conciliation process between the claimant and the respondent between across the period 2017 - 2019? If this period is too large, please reduce to 2018 - 2019, or 2019.

2. How many within the above statistic at (1) arrived at a settlement/outcome that resulted in not having to proceed to an employment tribunal? If you are able to provide more 'general' information as to what the settlement/outcome was if you hold this information and can categorise this it would be appreciated.

3. Are you able to highlight how much of the statisitics in (1) and/or (2) were related to the UK Civil Service?

Please find our letter of response and two annual reports attached. The letter tells you which pages to look at to get answers to your questions and also gives a website address if you want to delve further back in time. We haven't collected the stats for the current financial year yet as it is not finished - you will be able to obtain them in our next Annual Report which is usually published in the Summer.
