I am writing to request an internal review of St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Earlestown regeneration'.

You are now beyond late, please answer my request. A similar sized council such as Bury don't have the delays that you do. Weather it's incompetence or apathy I don't know but I know you have a nerve increasing the council tax.

My request was quite simple, not vexatious. Which "stake holders" were granted a business improvement grant from the council. You are making a mockery of democracy.

Dear Mr Watkinson,

thank you for the message in relation to the ombudsman.

I apologise for the continued delay in responding to your request for
information. It is being chased up with the relevant service area. I will
escalate further today.

Just for your information, the Ombudsman will likely refer you to the
Information Commissioner's Office (the UK regulator). This is the route
you need to take if you are dissatisfied, as outlined n the internal
review response. The contact details for the ICO can be found here

Dear St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council,

What does "chased with area" mean? Why did you share the link titled applications then when I try to gain access it, I can't? A straight answer please. Can you tell me which businesses in the Earlestown Regeneration conservation area, applied for and were accepted for a Business Improvement Grant and which never?

Yours faithfully,
