EAMC exam allowance applications
Dear University of Cambridge,
I would like to submit a freedom of information request for the following.
1. The number of post-results applications for an Examination Allowance made to the EAMC by undergraduate students in each of the five years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. That is, applications to the Examination Access and Mitigation Committee for an Examination Allowance made after the student had received their classed tripos results for the relevant year.
2. For each of the five years, the number of post-results applications to the EAMC by undergraduates for an Examination Allowance which were successful.
3. For each year, the number of post-results applications to each of the following: Examination Allowances:
a) Allowed to Progress
b) Declared to have Deserved Honours (DDH)
c) Ordinary BA degree
d) Allowed the Examination
e) Reconsideration of an original result
f) Resit opportunity
4. For each year, the number of each type of Examination Allowance a-f that was eventually given or awarded.
5. Additionally, for each year could you provide the numbers of applications to intermit (disregard terms) made after receiving tripos results to apply such that the student retakes that tripos part in the subsequent year, and the number of such applications which were successful.
For any of the above, if you intend to invoke any exemptions to providing this information, please advise me how I can adjust my request.
