The letter on the above link was issued by the DWP on the 4th of January 2013.

Dear Operations FOI Requests,

Thank you for your reply. My question was not in relation to the letter in particular and specifically noted letters on the same topic and therefore find it strange that you are focussing on the individual concerned. However I will simply ask my request in a different way.

Your departmental spokesperson noted that you were looking into a letter referenced in this article:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-sc...
"We will look into this specific letter in case any misleading information was inadvertently given out."
Can you provide me with the conclusions of your investigation into the letter referenced here and if the department noted that misleading information had been given out and if so what misleading information was concluded as provided.

Yours sincerely,

Neil Lovatt

Dear Operations FOI Requests,

Thank you for your reply. Can I finally ask as per my original request if this investigation concluded if this incorrect information was a one off or were other letters providing the same incorrect information issued?

Yours sincerely,

Neil Lovatt
