Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Greenwich Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Greenwich Borough Council,

ONE: How many dwellings have been purchased by the Council to provide permanent council rented housing in each of the last three years from the following sources:
(1) Ex-RTB homes on council estates
(2) S106 homes on new build developments
(3) Other market properties
Please state the number of bedrooms in each case, for each year.
Please state how many of these properties have been let as Social Rent and Affordable Rent in each case, for each year (or with any other rent regime, in which case, please provide details).
Please do not include any properties which have been purchased with the intention to demolish/redevelop.

TWO: How many dwellings have been purchased by the Council to provide housing for temporary accommodation in each of the last three years from the following sources:
(1) Ex-RTB homes on council estates
(2) S106 homes on new build developments
(3) Other market properties
Please state the number of bedrooms in each case, for each year.
Please state the rent regime for these properties by number, in each bedroom size in each year: i.e. Social Rent, or London Affordable Rent, or Local Housing Allowance, etc.
Please include all dwellings purchased by any arm’s length company or housing special purpose vehicle. Please indicate where such a company has been the purchaser.

Our response is as follows:

The Council purchased 13 units for permanent HRA stock, part funded using
S106 funds in 2019.

There were 28 ex RTB’s purchased in 18/19 and 19/20, 22 of which formed
part of a council estate and 6 were ‘other market’ (miscellaneous
acquired) properties.  These were all used for temporary accommodation.

 

(2) S106 homes on new build developments

None

(3) Other market properties

Please state the number of bedrooms in each case, for each year.

Please state the rent regime for these properties by number, in each
bedroom size in each year: i.e. Social Rent, or London Affordable Rent, or
Local Housing Allowance, etc.

Please include all dwellings purchased by any arm’s length company or
housing special purpose vehicle. Please indicate where such a company has
been the purchase

I would therefore be grateful if you could provide that information for the following purchased homes within the last three years, as referenced in your initial response:
