(1) Ex-RTB homes on council estates
(2) S106 homes on new build developments
(3) Other market properties
Please state the number of bedrooms in each case, for each year.
Please state how many of these properties have been let as Social Rent and Affordable Rent in each case, for each year (or with other rent regime, in which case, please provide details).
Please do not include any properties which have been purchased with the intention to demolish/redevelop.

TWO: How many dwellings have been purchased by the Council to provide housing for temporary accommodation in each of the last three years from the following sources:
(1) Ex-RTB homes on council estates
(2) S106 homes on new build developments
(3) Other market properties
Please state the number of bedrooms in each case, for each year.
Please state the rent regime for these properties by number, in each bedroom size in each year: i.e. Social Rent, or London Affordable Rent, or Local Housing Allowance, etc.
Please include all dwellings purchased by any arm’s length company or housing special purpose vehicle. Please indicate where such a company has been the purchaser.

Thank you for your information request received on 12/01/2021.
 
Unfortunately we would not know what the properties are being used for and
rent regime being followed for each one. We could however, provide some of
the information such as numbers acquired for HRA and i4B and bedroom
sizes.  Please can you advise me whether this would be sufficient.

The 20 working day timetable for responding to your request is halted
whilst we await the further details requested. If these are not received
within 40 working days of this letter the request will be closed.

I will not be able to take this matter further without this extra
information from you. Please let me know by 9 February 2021.

If I do not hear from you within the timeframe provided, I shall take it
that you do not wish to pursue this request and will consider the request
closed.

Dear Brent Borough Council,

I am writing to request an internal review of Brent Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Dwellings acquired for housing purposes'.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all the circumstances, Brent Borough Council should have responded by now. The original date for your substantive response was 9 February.

You have not responded to my recent reminders in a timely manner; and no substantive response has yet been provided.

Following a long period of non-response, I am therefore making this application for an internal review.
