Duty Books

The request was refused by Transport for London.

Dear Transport for London,

Please could you provide me duty books for all lines and depots. I understand that Duty Books aren't centrally managed or produced so please could you send me all of the duty books you can send. I also worked out that Duty Books do contain internal phone numbers etc, so could you send me the copies of the Duty Books where this information is blanked out.

I also do not mind if you send me Duty Books from previous WTTs.

Yours faithfully,

Max West :]

Dear Mr West

TfL Ref: FOI-1455-1819

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28
August 2018.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

I can confirm we do hold the information you require. However, in
accordance with the FOI Act we are not obliged to supply the information
as it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to
information under section 38(1) health and safety.

Our approach to the disclosure of this information has changed following a
security review.

In this instance the exemption has been applied as disclosure of the
information you have requested would be likely to endanger the safety of
an individual. The use of this exemption in relation to similar
information was considered by the Information Commissioner in Decision
Notice FS50607218, which was issued on 17 March 2016. The Commissioner
upheld both the application of the exemption and the balance of the public
interest. We consider the same arguments apply to your request.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached
information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
