To quote from a recent email:

This meeting was arranged for users of Durning Hall to meet the mayor to discuss how she can support them and their community groups in light of the redevelopment of Durning Hall, an essential facility to so many groups over the years. It was an opportunity to share their views to shape future plans. It was without an agenda to ensure users had a chance to voice their concerns.
The meeting was not recorded. There will not be a formal meeting report, although actions from that meeting will have been noted for officers to progress.

I/We would now like a copy of these notes.
I'd add that it is intensely regrettable that an important but badly advertised meeting doesn't seem to have any formal minutes or a video recording.

Me: Yes, I'd like the notes, as my original mail and believe that the dialogue needs to be more broad and transparent. I'll write about that in my note to the Mayor.

Congratulations on yet another piece of evasion and passive-aggression concerning this very simple matter. This is why I don't bother with anything involving the borough now, you'll be glad to know.

Dear London Borough of Newham,
It's taken you nearly three months to reply to this simple, polite request.
Also there's a question of possible lying here, first 'there are notes' and now 'there are no notes'. So I'll need an explanation of this from someone senior, quite quickly. Let's say within a week by the 17th November (2022).
Then I'll show this to the ICO, not necessarily for the answer but just to show the state of this very simple thing as it reflects the borough of Newham.

Dear London Borough of Newham,
Ok we're now at the end of November, so I'll start communications with the ICO tomorrow. You've managed to spin this out for about four months, well done!
Since our 'communication' I've spoken to someone who was at the meeting. So I'll have some 'control data' now to test the accuracy of anything I've been sent or, more likely, fobbed off with.
This is a disgrace for such a central matter to E7, isn't it?
