Dear Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner,
I am writing a feature about the drug problem in Devon and am hoping you will be able to to help me with facts, statistics and any other useful information on the topic.
My feature will be based on the increase or decrease of drug abusers in Devon, most specifically over the past 18 months. The feature will highlight if the problem is decreasing or if more people are starting to break the law.
In the feature I will talk about how parts of Devon have double the national average of deaths by drugs a year and how over the past couple of months the police have been tackling the problem in Devon.
Therefore, any information you could provide on the subject would be hugely appreciated and could be used in my article to raise awareness on the issue.
Thank you for contacting the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner
