Drivers seating legislation

Transport for London did not have the information requested.

Dear Transport for London,

I know that on drivers seat the legislation states that they must have a mechanical suspension and 100mm height riser. What I am trying to find out is if these must be independent of each other or if they can be integrated together?

Yours faithfully,

Daniel Taylor

Dear FOI,

Thank you for your reply. This is specifically for drivers seats in London buses. I know that they have to have a mechanical suspension and also they require a 100mm height riser. What I want to know is if these two can be integrated in to one system, or if they have to be separate and have separate controls?

I hope this is clearer?

Yours sincerely,

Daniel Taylor
