Dear Suffolk Constabulary,
I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I am attempting to correlate whether funding reductions in Public Transport by local authorities in has sparked an increase in recorded drink drive accidents and casualties, also if there has also been an increase in failed breath tests.
My questions are as follows
1. How many drink drive accidents have been recorded by Suffolk Constabulary each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
2. How many drink drive casualties have been recorded by Suffolk Constabulary each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
3. How many breath test failures by drivers and riders have been recorded by Suffolk Constabulary each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
4. How many breath test failures by drivers and riders involved in reported accidents have been recorded by Suffolk Constabulary each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
5. How many drink drive convictions of drivers and riders have been recorded by Suffolk Constabulary each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014?
6. How many drivers or riders killed in road traffic accidents in Suffolk were over the legal blood alcohol limit each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
7. How many drivers or riders between the age of 17 and 24 failed breath tests each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
8. How many killed and seriously injured casualties in Suffolk who were in reported accidents involving young drivers (17 to 24 years old) who were over the legal alcohol limit each year in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014?
Yours faithfully,
Martin Abrams
