Dear J Roberts
Your information access request IR1-3939657201
Thank you for your email of 27 May 2023 asking for a copy of the Medical
Practitioners Tribunal Service decision regarding Dr Shah Ali. I’ve
considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
I can’t provide the information you have asked for as we’re currently
planning to publish it in the near future on the Hearings and Decisions
section of the MPTS website.
The exemption
Section 22 of the FOIA is the exemption which applies to information
intended for future publication. This exemption is subject to a public
interest test and I believe that the public interest in maintaining the
exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
I'm sorry I couldn’t provide the information you requested. If you would
like to appeal this decision please set out your reasons in writing to
[GMC request email]. Please note that we will only usually consider appeals
received within 40 working days of our response. You can also appeal to
the Information Commissioner, the regulator of the FOIA and DPA.
Kind regards
Edd Mustill

This is awkward and interesting given perpetual effective suspension from 2017 as GMC-retribution. I would highlight given existing communications with J Roberts, I am disappointed the request has not been made direct to me.
