Thank you for your email dated 3 January 2022 in which you ask for full details of the MPT hearing concerning Dr Peter Copp that concluded on 26 October 2021 (GMC reference number 2941448). I have considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

I can't provide the information you requested as we're currently planning to publish the determination in the near future. Unfortunately, there are some current delays regarding the publication of hearing determinations, especially over the Christmas and New Year period, but we're planning on publishing the determination in around 4 weeks. I have provided details of the relevant exemption below.

The exemption

Section 22 of the FOIA is the exemption which applies to information intended for future publication. This exemption is subject to a public interest test and I believe that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
