Aggravating Factors (page 52)
15.The Tribunal identified the following aggravating factors:
• Dr Tahery has demonstrated very limited evidence of insight or remediation; and this limited insight and remediation is not supported by any objective evidence;
• he has not apologised to any of the patients involved in this case for the outcome of their surgery or for the distress he may have caused them. Indeed, Dr Tahery insisted that he had no reason to apologise for his actions;
• Patient D had mental health issues and was deemed vulnerable.'
