Dr Kotie RAS GMC ref. 6086453 - MPT determination of 2019 not on LRMT

The request was successful.

Dear General Medical Council,

My understanding is that MPT determinations are removed from the MPTS website after one year but that your publication policy is that determinations be generally available for 10 years:

'5. The essence of the GMC’s case was that it would be contrary to the doctor’s data protection rights to disclose the information sought by Mr Kayode beyond the 10-year publication period laid down in the policy.'

Kayode v Information Commissioner and the General Medical Council [2021] UKUT 86 (AAC)

I have checked the LRMT for the determination relating to Dr Kotie RAS GMC ref. 6086453, about which I requested information on 24 June 2020:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

There is no word 'details' in the 'Doctor's history' section for Dr Ras (clicking on the word 'details' normally reveals a copy of the MPT determination):

If the absence of Dr Ras's determination on the LRMT is intentional and not an oversight, please provide information on your policy of excluding some determinations from the LRMT.

Yours faithfully,

J Roberts
