'4. In summary, the August 2019 Tribunal found that Dr Kefala was convicted in the Thessaloniki Court of First Instance, of bodily injury caused by negligence, relating to a traffic incident. She was sentenced to five months’ imprisonment, suspended for three years. The August 2019 Tribunal found that Dr Kefala completed an application for a postgraduate course at the University of Southampton in October 2016, in which she responded ‘no’ to the question ‘do you have any criminal conviction which you are required to declare?’. Further, it was found that she completed a student self-disclosure of criminal record in November 2016 in which she stated ‘no’ in response to the question ‘have you been convicted?’. The August 2019 Tribunal found that Dr Kefala knew her answers were untrue and, therefore, that she had been dishonest.'
