DR Contractor Loans Settlements

Response to this request is delayed. By law, HM Revenue and Customs should normally have responded promptly and by (details)

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

HMRC has provided figures related to settlement uptake for DR/Contractor loans as per the table "HMRC settlements since announcement of disguised remuneration policy in Budget 2016" found on page 2 of the document at https://www.parliament.uk/documents/lord...

I would like a breakdown of the yield received, based on the latest available figures*, from each of the 3 settlement opportunities detailed in the links below and settlements related to Disguised Remuneration/Contractor Loans but outside the aforementioned 3 settlement opportunities:

Employee Benefit trusts: settlement opportunity - https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...

Tax on contractor loans - https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...

Disguised remuneration: detailed settlement terms - https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...

*historical figures will be suitable if it means the FOIA cost limits can be adhered to

S Christie

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need

The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of HM Revenue and Customs's handling of my FOI request 'DR Contractor Loans Settlements'.

My question specifically asked for yield under the 3 listed settlement opportunities and settlements related to Disguised Remuneration/Contractor Loans but outside the aforementioned 3 settlement opportunities.

You have not provided the yield under the settlement terms https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio... which were announced on 7 November 2017.

I request that you complete an internal review and then provide those figures.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

S Christie
