We're waiting for Mark Redfern to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Cardiff University,

I'd like to have access to a list of courses and modules taught by Dr Amanda Tonks from the School of Medicine.

Specifically, I'd like to have a list of any courses/ modules through which she had contact with students enrolled on a Bachelor of Medicine or a Bachelor of Surgery degree from the 2016/17 to 2020/21 academic years.

Dear Mark Redfern

I acknowledge receipt of your email received by this office on 26 March
2021.

Your request will now be dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 and has been allocated reference FOI21-134 which should be quoted in

other teams across the University. Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic
most staff are now working remotely, and it is likely that there will be a

best to meet this deadline and keep you informed should we be unable to do

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request dated 26
March 2021.

I'd like to have access to a list of courses and modules taught by Dr
Amanda Tonks from the School of Medicine.

 

Specifically, I'd like to have a list of any courses/ modules through
which she had contact with students enrolled on a Bachelor of Medicine or
a Bachelor of Surgery degree from the 2016/17 to 2020/21 academic years.

 

 

The information requested is not published or generally made public by the
University and we consider this data constitutes personal data as defined
within data protection legislation. Section 40(2) of the Freedom of
Information Act provides an exemption if the disclosure of information
would constitute a breach of the data protection principles.  As
disclosures under the Freedom of Information Act are into the wider public
domain it is considered that releasing information at this level would be
unfair and therefore to disclose would be a breach of the data protection
principle concerning fairness.   Therefore the information you have
requested is considered exempt by virtue of Section 40(2) of the Freedom
of Information Act and will not be disclosed.

I trust this information satisfies your enquiry. The University has a
Freedom of Information Complaints Procedure should you feel dissatisfied
with this response or the way in which your request was handled.
Complaints must be made in writing and must set out why you believe the
University has not met its obligations under the Freedom of Information
