Dear Prime Minister's Office,

I would like to know the origin of the current Prime Minister's podium as used for Downing Street briefings and elsewhere, including its manufacturer, specifications and cost. I would like to know how many of these podiums exist and where they are located. Are podiums routinely transported nationally and internationally?

I would also like to know why the podium type changed when Theresa May left office - why was Mrs May's podium not suitable to the current Prime Minister? Again, I would like to know the origin of Mrs May's Prime Ministerial podium as used for Downing Street briefings and elsewhere, including its manufacturer, specifications and cost. I would also like to know if these podiums still exist and if so, where.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Moore
