which was received by Greater Manchester Police on 07.12.10. I note you

the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third

In some circumstances Greater Manchester Police may be unable to achieve

time-scale at the earliest opportunity.
There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of
the information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and
the 20 working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment
from you. If you choose not to make payment then your request will remain
unanswered.

Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to
another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest
possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.

Subject: Freedom of Information request - Donations and charges relating
to Manchester Pride

Dear Greater Manchester Police,

How much does Greater Manchester Police donate to the Manchester
Pride event each year and how much does it charge the event for
policing each year?

Ideally I would like figures for the years from 2003 to 2010
inclusive. But if that is too much for one FOI request, please
provide as many as possible, working backwards from the current
year.

Note that in 2003 the event was known as Europride.

further to my disclosure dated 7th January re your request for information
regarding Manchester Pride. It has come to my attention that an error was
made regarding the figure for 2007. The actual figure should read
**40,000 not **30,000 - a revised disclosure is attached. Please accept
my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
