I would like to make an inquiry under the Freedom of information Act regarding Direct Payments in Domiciliary Care.
Please can you tell me the following; (all questions are related to Domiciliary Care for adults 18 and over)

How many packages do you commission on a monthly basis?

Do you have a framework in place? If yes:
What type of framework is it?
When does it expire?

If you do have a framework in place, what % of care do you have to spot purchase outside of the framework?

How do you commission care packages currently?
Through an purpose built I.T system – if yes, which one

Thank you for your request for information (FOI 45200) submitted under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 which has been given the above mentioned
reference number. Please quote this on any correspondence regarding your

Stockport Council will respond to your request within 20 working days from
the date of receipt. If there will be a charge for disbursements e.g.
photocopying in order to provide the information, we will inform you as
soon as possible to see if you wish to proceed; however such charges are
