The request was successful.

Dear Doncaster Borough Council,

I would like to make an inquiry under the Freedom of information Act regarding Direct Payments in Domiciliary Care. Please can you tell me the following; (all questions are related to Domiciliary Care for adults 18 and over)

How many packages do you commission on a monthly basis?

Do you have a framework in place? If yes:
What type of framework is it?
When does it expire?

If you do have a framework in place, what % of care do you have to spot purchase outside of the framework?

How do you commission care packages currently?
Through an purpose built I.T system – if yes, which one
Through other IT system – if yes, which one
Via Telephone
Via Email

How many providers are do you have registered, and how many are you actively using?

What is the average hourly price you pay for Dom care?

Many thanks in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Callum Finn

Freedom of Information Requests, Doncaster Borough Council

Dear Mr Finn

Please will you clarify what you mean by Direct Payments in Domiciliary Care, as we have a slight confusion as to what information you are seeking? Are you referring to commissioning agency services and a ‘direct payment’ as a payment to the provider directly rather than about directing your own social care package?

I will put your request on hold until we receive clarification of what you require.

Many thanks
