I write to acknowledge and apologise for the delay in responding to your
request for information. As you know the council is required to respond to
all requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act and / or

Dear Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Domiciliary Care Plan Review'.

"In relation to the provision of domiciliary care managed by Walsall
MBC :

1 Please provide details and a copy of the Walsall MBC procedure
for determining individual Care Plans

2 Please provide details and a copy of the Walsall MBC procedure
for reviewing individual Care Plans"

My request for this information is a reflection of my dissatisfaction and concerns about the unprofessional manner in which care is being managed for a member of my family. This information is essential for me to understand if Walsall MBC rules and procedures are being adhered to and, therefore, the cause of the poor standard of care management, or if the care work teams are individually at fault.

Failing to supply this information within the prescribed timescale is unacceptable. If the procedures exist it should be a simple matter to supply copies. If they do not exist the root cause of the unprofessional management of care needs is clearly identified.

Continued failure to answer this request must be perceived as devisive and contrary to the requirements of The Freedom of Information Act.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Chris Smith

Dear [email address],

Thank you.

Could you now please explain why when I previously repeatedly requested this information from Diane Pearce my requests were completely ignored?

It is disgraceful that a formal request is necessary to obtain this information.

Yours sincerely,

Chris Smith
