Domiciliary Care Contract and implications
Dear Halton Borough Council,
Halton BC is experiencing difficulties in starting the new contract for Domiciliary Care for 2017 2022.
Halton BC experienced a similar complication in enacting its present contract in 2013.
What is the legal challenge that has been placed on the Domiciliary Care contract 2017 – 2022, and by who. What progress is being made to rectify the issue.
Both these contracts uncertainties must and have proved difficult for care companies and their employees and those receiving care. Those receiving care must feel neglected and frightened after speaking to their carers and likewise.
Has any consideration been given to the uncertainty being experience by the employees of the care companies and their difficulties they must be facing with the uncertainties of their employment and therefore their salaries. Their need to establish continuity for mortgages and essential loans for every day functioning must be extremely difficult if not impossible.
There is a number of complaints going to the ombudsman about carers. Has Halton BC received any complaints from carers about their clients.
