Column A = Year beginning 2010 ending 2020 to the latest available records
Column B = Issued to Female against Male
Column C = Issued to Female against Female
Column D = Issued to Male against Female
Column E = Issued to Male against Male

To clarify,

“issued to” = alleged victim
“against” = alleged perpetrator.

Having completed enquiries within Essex Police in respect of Section
1(1)(a), Essex Police does hold information relating to your request,
Essex Police can confirm in respect of Section 1(1)(b) the following data:

 

Caveat:  The data is from 2014 onwards as no records were held prior to
Domestic Violence Protection Notices/Orders being introduced in 2014.

 

Please note that the Total column is often more than the other columns
added together, this is due to a handful of cases where the Domestic
Violence Protection Notice/Order has been issued to more than one victim
of varying sex.
