I have also been a victim of Norfolk Constabulary attacking Domestic Abuse Victims upon the perpetrators instruction.

IN 2015 they took me upon my husbands instruction from my neighbours safe refuge and drove me 20 miles to Kings Lynn (suffering post natal depression after just giving birth) and dumping me next to a dual carriageway with barely any money and one bar of battery left on my phone.

In 2016 they arrested me upon my husbands instruction for passively sitting on my sofa singing twinkle twinkle little star whilst their officer ranted in my face trying to provoke a reaction. Singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in my own home was deemed a breech of the peace. I was put under false arrest and assaulted in the back of the police van.

My Subject Access Request shows attempts have been made by these officers to DELETE THESE INCIDENTS from the Athena Police National Computer to cover up the abuse.

If you too are a victim of this conduct then this FOI request is CRIMINAL and should be referred to the ICO for an investigation.

Best Regards

Mrs Grocock

Feel free to contact me if you would like to look at a joint complaint. PSD have refused to take appropriate action and I am in contact with numerous organisations.

Dear Mrs Grocock,

Thank you for your insightful email. I am sorry to hear about your experience. Although I am not a victim of NC, I am interested in examining police-perpetrated domestic abuse in the UK. The following links might be of interest to you:

Outcomes for police misconduct proceedings – updated guidance
Published on 17 August 2022

'Officers who commit violence towards women and girls should expect to be sacked and barred from re-joining the police. There is no place in policing for anyone who behaves in a way that damages the public’s trust in us to keep them safe.

Today’s new guidance helps bring common sense and consistency to a process that is crucial to maintaining public trust in police. We need a misconduct system which is transparent, timely and isn’t afraid to show the door to officers who betray our values.'

'There are ‘systemic deficiencies’ in the way some police forces in England and Wales deal with allegations of domestic abuse against their own officers and staff, an investigation has found.

The College of Policing, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Service (HMICFRS) and the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) investigated a super-complaint submitted by the Centre for Women’s Justice (CWJ).'

HMICFRS report:

An inspection of vetting, misconduct, and misogyny in the police service
Published on: 2 November 2022

https://www.justiceinspectorates.gov.uk/...

'Following the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving police officer, the then Home Secretary commissioned HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) under section 54(2B) of the Police Act 1996 to assess current vetting and counter-corruption capacity and capability in policing across England and Wales. This was to include forces’ ability to detect and deal with misogynistic and predatory behaviour.

We were asked to consider current vetting (and re-vetting), arrangements for transferees, whistleblowing arrangements, the work of counter-corruption units and, where relevant, wider Professional Standards '
