Dog Interim Exemption Scheme (IES)

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Lancashire Police and Crime Panel should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Lancashire Police and Crime Panel,

In each of the years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020:

1) How many dogs were seized under Section 1 (breed-specific legislation) of the Dangerous Dogs Act?

2) Of the aforementioned dogs, for how many of those seized was their release under the Interim Exemption Scheme (IES) requested?

3) Of those for which the IES was requested, how many of these were actually released under the IES?

Yours faithfully,

L. A. Jourdan
