considered under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(FoIA).  I set out below your request for information and the Council’s

Please provide the following:

1. The number of fixed penalty notices issued for dog fouling each year for
the past three financial years
2016/17 - 2
2017/18 - 2
2018/19 - 6
2019/20 - 2 to date

2. The highest amount and average amount fined for dog fouling for the past
three financial years.
For the time period specified there has been one conviction in 2018/19
£100 fine, £20 costs awarded
