Dog fouling
Dear Police Scotland,
The Dog Fouling (Scotland) Act 2003, section 5 (1) (b) allows for Police Officers to issue a Fixed Penalty Notice in relation to persons failing to pick up their dogs foul, in certain circumstances.
In each year since the formation of Police Scotland in April 2013, I would like to know how many of these Fixed Penalty Notices have been issued by Police Scotland.
This is a request for information submitted in accordance with the provisions of The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Leith
