2. How many Fixed Penalty Notices were issuied for the same period, please give yearly figures.

3. If the Council participated in any dog fouling campaigns, please give dates.

2) Fixed Penalty Notices

A total of 11 fixed penalty notices have been served in Aberdeenshire
during the above period, however, I do not have the individual dates
available.

3) Campaigns.

The Dog Control Team has been actively involved in the Clean Dog Walking
Campaign in partnership with Community Planning Officers and local
Community Councils in several areas of Aberdeenshire. Additional Community
Councils are being encouraged to enter the scheme with the assistance of
local Councillors.

The Dog Wardens are also involved with Community Councils and the Education
Service to promote the message of being a responsible dog owner by visiting
and presenting at schools and local events.
