Does the cctv pointed towards Carbuncle Passage N17 work?

The request was successful.

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

I have been informed by a local cllr, the borough has placed a cctv camera onto Carbuncle Passage awhile ago to discourage flytipping.
1. How much budget was used to buy and place the camera?
2. Is the cctv camera in action?
3. If the cctv camera works, what is being done with the video material?
4. Have you had convictions from the cctv footage?
5. If the camera doesn't work, what wilm be done in order to use it once more?

Yours faithfully,

Dear Ms Willemen,

Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/5461316

Thank you for your request for information received on 05 July 2016, in
which you asked for the following information:

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

I have been informed by a local cllr, the borough has placed a cctv camera
onto Carbuncle Passage awhile ago to discourage fly tipping.

1. How much budget was used to buy and place the camera?

2. Is the CCTV camera in action?

3. If the CCTV camera works, what is being done with the video material?

4. Have you had convictions from the CCTV footage?

5. If the camera doesn't work, what wilm be done in order to use it once
more?

My response is as follows:

1) The Camera situated opposite Carbuncle passage was purchased in 2006
and due to organisational and staff changes we cannot confirm the purchase
cost.

2) The camera is currently operational.

3) The footage captured is provided to the requesting team (Neighbourhood
Action Team) to assist in prosecuting fly tip perpetrators.

4) No convictions  have been established from footage extracted from the
camera.

5) I can confirm the camera is currently in place and operational although
at times may be removed for maintenance purposes.

If you have any further queries, or are unhappy with how we have dealt
with your request and wish to make a complaint, please contact the
