Dear Surjit Patel,

I am writing in response to your request for information, received 16th
August.

Yours sincerely,

DWP Central FoI Team

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Does Kim McCabe work for the department of work and pensions'.

I'm not sure why the request has been refused but as a public authority, the only request I have made is whether the individual works for your department?! There is no issue about privacy over here because I am not asking about the individuals personal life but their professional one. My request does not invade or intrude into their privacy so therefore, the request should not have been refused. It appears to have been refused because there seems to be some secrecy regarding the individuals position at the department of work and pensions. If the person is employed in the department of work and pensions, there would be no reason to decline the request. I would like a full internal review to take place and the information that I have requested should be disclosed.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Surjit Patel
