Does Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Trust have a policy of self-identification of gender
Dear Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust,
I refer to the statement on your website:
"At Ashford and St. Peter’s Trust, we are committed to respecting the privacy and dignity of our patients and work to ensure that men and women do not share sleeping accommodation and bathroom facilities".
Does the trust operate this policy based on biological sex or self-identification of gender?
If someone has a gender recognition certificate, does the trust place them in accommodation according to their biological sex or their declared gender?
Yours faithfully,
S White
