I am writing regarding your e-mail of 29 March 2011 requesting information
about Government regeneration programmes for Hackney LBC since 1990. I am
considering your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The Department requires further clarification of your request in order to
identify and locate the information that you have requested.
In these circumstances, I will not be able to take your request further
without clarification from you. In particular it would be useful to know
whether you were interested in specific programmes (Single Regeneration
Budget, Neighbourhood Renewal Fund, City Challenge etc) or whether you
were also wishing to know about regeneration funded from Hackney’s formula
grant allocations.
The twenty working days in which the Department has to respond to your FOI
request will begin on the day after we receive clarification of your
request.
If I have not heard from you by 18^th July 2011 I shall regard your
request as having lapsed.

In regard to your reply asking for further clarification about my request for data under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, yes I am interested in the total spend adjusted for inflation of specific regeneration programmes. I wasn’t sure that the DCLG would hold data on regeneration programmes funded from Hackney LBC's formula grant allocations and if I should instead request that data directly from them. If the DCLG does have this data then if I may also have this too, the total spend adjusted for inflation of regeneration programmes funded from Hackney LBC's formula grant allocations, that would be most appreciated.
